ACTIVATE

The stimulus for piglets, for their activation and intestinal health.

During the birth process, a piglet is more at risk of dying than at any other stage of its life. Piglets are born energy deficient, but have very high energy needs due to high physical activity, for thermoregulation and high heat production in muscle tissues. Newborn piglets depend on three different sources of energy: glycogen, colostrum and transient milk. Since glycogen stores are limited, the piglet is completely dependent on colostrum and transient milk for energy.

How to use AHV Piglet Activate

The application of AHV Piglet Activate gives the piglets a boost and provides them with a dose of energy. Piglets have more energy and reach the udder earlier. It causes the piglets to drink more colostrum and transitional milk, which leads to better stimulation of milk production by the sow.

WEBSITE Piglet activate 2

AHV Piglet Activate should be administered orally. Using a dropper, 1 ml is administered to small (body weight 1.1 kg) and weak (ened) piglets as soon as possible after colostrum intake, within 24 hours after birth.
