METRI TABLET

AHV Metri Tablet stimulates the release of the placenta after calving, promoting faster recovery and improved uterine hygiene.

A clean, unchallenged uterine environment, supports cow health in early lactation, reducing the risk of post calving health issues as well as preparing the animal for optimal fertility and conception.

How to use Metri Tablet

AHV Metri Tablet is part of the AHV programme to support Uterine health and works excellently in combination with the Transition programme.

AHV Quick how to 2

AHV Metri Tablet has been developed to support the dairy cow after calving. The unique blend of components positively influence the immunological, enzymatical and hormonal pathways as well as the mechanical (muscle) functions associated with good uterine health.

AHV Metri Tablet is provided orally, with an AHV tablet applicat, making application easy. Regurgitating feed boluses may impair tablet administration. Wait for the feed bolus to be (re)swallowed or allow the cow to stand 15 minutes prior to applying the product.

Proactive: For optimal results and herd success

What farmers say about the Metri Tablet

“We are very enthusiastic about the AHV Metri Tablet, it ensures that the afterbirth comes off more easily and it works great. The cow stands up more easily and comes into heat sooner. I find that one of the most important things for my cows.“
Arjam de HoopUtrecht, The Netherlands
“When a cow does not deliver within 6 hours of calving, we administer an AHV Metri Tablet. This is a quick solution and ensures that the uterus is cleaned. We also use it a proactively as a measure on a few cows that will potentially face a health challenge.”
Alexis RobertBrittany, France
“I’ve been using the AHV transition and fertility protocol for three years now, and overall I’m very happy with the results. They’ve become an essential part of managing my herd, especially when it comes to maintaining cow health and productivity.

Once the cow has calved down, I give AHV Booster, Metri, and StartLac Paste, and the results have been great – no dirty cows and zero post-calving issues, which has made things run much more smoothly. Moving forward, I plan to add the AHV Booster Tablet after calving to improve milk production in the next lactation.”
Stephen MileyWicklow, Ireland
We go in two weeks pre-calving with the Booster Tablet. When the cow calves down we’re using the Metri Tablet, the StartLac Tablet and the StartLac Paste. This helps the cow to hit the ground running and reduces the open days.

We found that it’s helping with conception rates and reducing the amount of subclinical and clinical milk fever in the first couple of days of calving. We couldn’t recommend it enough here, it’s working for us daily and we’re very happy with the progress.
Kyle HanbidgeWicklow, Ireland
