TRANSITION
The transition period is an important period in the cow’s productive life that is very demanding. During this period, it is crucial that your cow receives a well-balanced ration to get important nutrients and minerals like calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus, in addition to energy. Next to that, attention should be given to a stress-free environment, that allows for movement and access to water. Cows that benefit from proper transition management will have a better calving process and start production with no hassle.
The AHV Transition Programme focuses on the period before and after calving and ensures sufficient energy, minerals, and stimulates dry matter intake. This programme connects excellently with the AHV Uterine Health Programme to fully support the recently calved cow and allow her to restart the reproductive cycle in the best way possible.
