IN NEXT LACTATION

Trials show StopLac improves milk production in the next lactation by reducing udder stress, supporting recovery, and promoting a healthier dry-off period.

WHY STOPLAC WORKS FOR YOU

Are you tired of burdensome ‘dry-off days’? Ready to take control of dry-off—naturally?

StopLac reduces milk production and udder pressure while maintaining well-being during the dry-off period by disrupting the quorum sensing of ruminal microorganisms.

  • Lower risk for new intramammary infections
  • Less labor, parlor efficiency
  • Maintain optimal feed intake
  • Optimal cow comfort
  • 100% natural product

MODE OF ACTION

AHV StopLac is a complementary feed for cows.

StopLac works by modifying rumen fermentation to temporarily reduce volatile fatty acid production. This temporarily reduces milk production within 24 hours.

StopLac improves lactose reabsorption and slightly lowers the pH value in the udder, which inhibits bacterial growth. This reduces the risk of udder infections before and after calving.

  • StopLac showed beneficial effects during dry-off and early postpartum
  • Improved protein-energy metabolism (NEFA, urea), liver function (AST, GLDH), and overall clinical status
  • Reduced metabolic stress during the transition period, supporting udder health regeneration and enhancing resilience to metabolic and infectious challenges at lactation onset

Field trials in the USA including 2 farms and 404 cows (233 AHV, 171 Control) showed that cows receiving StopLac at dry-off had:

  • 70% difference in milk leakage after dry-off
  • 6.7 lbs difference per day in milk production (100DIM average)
  • 47% difference in death losses (60DIM)

Compared to the control group.
